Numerical Simulation of Low-Permeability Reservoirs with considering the Dynamic Boundary Layer Effect

چکیده
Surface active components, salt component, and polar molecules in the fluid may adsorb on solid surface form boundary layer during low-speed flow a porous medium, which will influence flowing law medium. Previous studies low-permeability reservoirs mainly focus effects of threshold pressure gradient. But few them have considered time-varying effect thickness solving numerical simulation. The correlation among gradient was established by regressing experimental data versus pressure. On this basis, mathematical model oil-water two-phase involves constructed, comparative analysis development is performed. Results demonstrated that sensitive to throat radius gradient, decreases dynamically with increase displacement velocity accumulative oil production decrease when comparing without effect. Meanwhile, accelerates breakthrough water. With reduction difference, difference between increases, indicate dynamic intensified.

Numerical Simulation of MHD Boundary Layer Stagnation Flow of Nanofluid over a Stretching Sheet with Slip and Convective Boundary Conditions
An investigation is carried out on MHD stagnation point flow of water-based nanofluids in which the heat and mass transfer includes the effects of slip and convective boundary conditions. Employing the similarity variables, the governing partial differential equations including continuity, momentum, energy, and concentration have been reduced to ordinary ones and solved by using...
متن کاملNumerical Simulation about Reconstruction of the Boundary Layer "2279
In this paper, the reconstruction mechanism of the boundary layer in the channel is studied using the lattice Boltzmann method (LBM). By comparing the distribution of velocity in the channel, the conclusion that LBM has feasibility and superiority is obtained. Based on this, a physical model of square cylinders is set up to simulate the velocity distribution and the effect on the thickness of b...
متن کاملNumerical Simulation of Shock-Wave/Boundary/Layer Interactions in a Hypersonic Compression Corner Flow
Numerical results are presented for the shock-boundary layer interactions in a hypersonic flow over a sharp leading edge compression corner. In this study, a second- order Godunov type scheme based on solving a Generalized Riemann Problem (GRP) at each cell interface is used to solve thin shear layer approximation of laminar Navier-Stokes (N-S) equations. The calculated flow-field shows general...
متن کاملStudies of turbulent boundary layer flow through direct numerical simulation
The objective has been to study turbulent boundary layers under adverse pressure gradients (APG) through direct numerical simulation (DNS). The numerical code is based on a pseudo-spectral technique which is suitable for the simple geometry (flat plate) considered here. A large effort has been put into the optimization of the numerical code on various super computers. Five large simulations hav...
متن کاملDirect Numerical Simulation of Jet Actuators for Boundary Layer Control
The paper presents a method to perform direct numerical simulations (DNS) of a jet actuator flow inside a turbulent flat plate boundary layer (TBL). A structured finite difference method is used for the simulations. The numerical scheme is adapted to account for the large scale differences both in geometric and fluid dynamic aspect. Analytical mesh transformations have been implemented to resol...
